Last week marked the closing presentation of WHAN’s Practice Improvement Project as part of the Practice Lead Program, delivered in collaboration with the Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) and sponsored by the Home Office.
The program brought together professionals dedicated to improving how frontline services understand and respond to child sexual abuse. Through shared learning, case discussions, and evidence-based frameworks, the project focused on creating more consistent, trauma-informed practices across agencies.
The final session was both reflective and forward-looking — an opportunity to share progress, key insights, and lessons that will shape future approaches to supporting survivors and strengthening community responses.
WHAN remains deeply committed to contributing to national conversations on child protection and advancing compassionate, informed practice across the sector.
